Special interests: dermatology, ENT, muskuloskeletal medicine, men's health, pain management.

Dr Tony Buckland
Dr Tony Buckland

Qualified at St Thomas’ Hospital in 1976.

Special interests: minor skin surgery including basal cell carcinoma (BCC) removal, orthopaedics, sports medicine, joint injections, ear nose and throat (ENT), dermatology, child health, psychosexual health, men's health.  Dr Buckland is now working reduced hours and concentrating on minor surgery.

Julie McGowan (Nurse Practitioner)
Julie McGowan (Nurse Practitioner)

Qualified as a registered nurse in 1982 at St Bartholomews School of Nursing, London. Julie has worked as a practice nurse since 1998. She has diplomas in asthma, COPD, diabetes and CHD. She is a qualified advanced nurse practitioner and a non-medical prescriber.

Philippa Logan (Practice Nurse)

Qualified in 1985 as a registered nurse at Pembury School of Nursing. Worked as a practice nurse for 10 years and nurse practitioner for 6 years setting up a Triage Service. Phillipa has a diploma in asthma care, a family planning certificates and is interested in ENT, children and women's health, dermatology and addiction.

Jenny Webster (Healthcare Assistant)

Qualified in 1987 as a registered nurse at St Margarets Hospital, Epping, Essex. Jenny has three years experience in A & E, two years in travel health and has been a practice nurse for five years at Lonsdale Medical Centre. She has a diploma in cardiovascular disease asthma.

Lesley Hayden (Practice Nurse)

Qualified in 1977 as a registered nurse at Kingston & Richmond School of Nursing. Lesley completed a post registered nursing diploma in community nursing, at Christchurch College Canterbury & Brighton University, and also has diplomas in diabetes, CHD and asthma. Lesley attends the surgery Friday afternoons as a locum.

Joanna has recently qualified as a Health Care Assistant, she is able to carry out ECGs, blood tests, INRs and blood pressures. Her phlebotomy clinics are on Mondays and Fridays.

The District nurses team provide nursing services in the home. They can be contacted through reception or at Kingswood Surgery, Tunbridge Wells. Tel 511833.

Midwives

Emily Steward and Sally Sadler share your antenatal and postnatal care. They can be contacted at Pembury Hospital or through reception.

Health Visitor

Catherine Short is available at the Community Child Health Clinic.

The Health Vistor team may be contacted Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm on 0300 790 0243. Please leave a message if necessary and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
